Sponsor a Kid

Uganda is amongst the poorest countries in the world with 41% of its population living below the national poverty line which is less than US$ 1,90 per person per day. Because of that situation, many families cannot afford to pay for the basic needs of their children and even less for their education. Only 52,7% of the children in the country will finish their primary school and the rate can go a lot lower in some rural areas.

We believe in universal education, and for that purpose we have established a scholarship program, aiming to bridge the gap between talented kids and quality education. No matter the origin or family circumstances, every child should have access to school. This program funds the school fees and the basic needs of its recipients (food, medication, etc.), with the objective of making a difference in their life.

The school and its director will select those children that will benefit from such scholarships, based on their needs and merits. With US$ 300, a child will be able to complete a whole year of school and with US$ 2,500, they will be able to achieve their 7 years of primary school and have their basic needs met.

If you are interested in sponsoring a vulnerable child’s education, you can contact us now.

We will be happy to tell you more about the children who currently need to be helped in our community.

We appreciate your donation and believe it will contribute to the success of those children that want to have the chance to improve their life through education.

Here are just a few examples of St. Paul school’s students who are going to school thanks to generous sponsors:

I am 12 years old and I come from Nabugalo, in Eastern Uganda. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters. When I will be older I want to become a doctor. I like to study in St. Paul and since my arrival I have improved a lot and shown very promising results.
